                               RESOLUTION NO. 19549
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF THE
                   GROUP TERM LIFE INSURANCE CONTRACT TO FORTIS
                   BENEFITS INSURANCE COMPANY FOR THEIR BID OF
                   42/100 DOLLARS ($.42) PER THOUSAND, PER
                   MONTH, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE
                   SAID CONTRACT.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       award of the group term life insurance contract to Fortis 
Benefits
       Insurance Company for their bid of $.42 per thousand, per month;
       and
       	    	 BE IF FURTHER RESOLVED, That the Mayor be and is hereby
       authorized to execute said contract.
